LOL

Actually, given that this is a Microsoft forum, I'm surprised it's not much worse than it is...

What I find most amusing is that the trolling continues no matter how many trolls go away (One down...).  25 votes and not one "Not bad at all"... that's amusing.

A few days ago I was talking on a thread and by the time I got there there was an OS war... I made a few comments and asked a few questions relevant to the thread topic, and a guy from one of the Microsoft teams was kind enough to respond.

Then some people resumed flaming each other, so I asked them to take it elsewhere so the thread wouldn't get closed. One guy agreed that the fighting was silly, but the other guy provoked him, and all hell broke loose again.

That was both hilarious and frustrating at the same time.

I have to agree with AndyC, I'm also surprised we have as few trolls as we do but the trolls that are here are really getting on my nerves, can we just kick them back to the murky depths they came from (aka Slashdot)? It's one thing to have an informed discussion about operating systems, but it seems like the same people just keep starting and turning topics into flame wars about how much they like Linux and why they hate Microsoft and Windows.

I joined C9 on Feb 16th, but I have only really been about these past few days and I have already be in a topic were some one has been bitching that MS sucks and Bill Gates is evil.

If they think that, then why the hell are they on a Microsoft Backed Community Portal. Dam Fools
