Application Compatibility: Step 3

Application Compatibility

Resolve any outstanding compatibility issues to report compatibility mitigation to management.

After you create the application mitigation packages and perform preliminary tests, you are ready to perform further testing. This further testing is necessary to minimize the number of issues you will encounter in the deployment in your production environment.

During this step you need to:

1.

Test the mitigation strategies with a series of tests in your test environment and one or more pilot deployments in your production environment.

2.

Report compatibility mitigation status to management.

3.

Resolve any outstanding issues.

The Solution Accelerator for BDD describes how to complete these tasks. In addition, it describes how to use the appropriate tools for automating the testing process.
