Office 2003 Deployment: Step 2

Office

Identify the upgrade issues.

Knowledge of the differences that may exist between the current version(s) of Office that may already be deployed in your environment is crucial to the successful deployment of Office 2003. Clearly identifying issues that may arise because of application and file format changes will help assure that the deployment goes smoothly. Included in this step is collecting an accurate inventory of the Office programs currently in use as well as Office solutions such as Access databases.

The Solution Accelerator for BDD gives you the tools and methods for successfully testing and resolving any upgrade of migration compatibility issues. It provides detailed steps for understanding issues and shows you how to develop processes for resolving them.
