Hi all. This is my first post here and i'm from Italy (sorry for my English ).
I'm setting up a software house with 3 friends. We're gonna create software, web sites and sell the hardware needed to run them.
Now the problem is: what name for the software house?
We're trying to find an appropriate name to create a logo and to register the domain for the website.
Please, help us find this name
Thanks in advance for all your replies.

All the good ones are taken I'm afraid.

I had a hard time finding one myself, I ended up with "Softicide".

Minh's got "Goduku", SlackMaster's got "DamnedNice", I don't know what Cybermagellan's friend chose though.

Originally, I used IDXT.  It was incredibly brilliant on my part - Officially, it was an acronym for "InDependent eXpert Technicians".  Unofficially, X is the roman numeral for 10...

Softicide, what is that? "Death by software?"

Suggest you (OP) derive a name from something that is meaningful to the founders: related to what you'd like it to do or why you're doing it.

Yep, it was a silent nod towards "Maxis" (Six AM backwards), staying up 'till the ungodly hours to complete a function then dying from a lack of sleep.

Or:

- The crime of murdering a process (i.e. typing Ctrl-C)
- What applications do when they terminate themselves
- Something you spray on your hardware to repel software
- Something you'd say about an animal's skin ("Wow, this calfskin is the softest hide I've ever felt")
- Death by being smothered by a Playboy Playmate

Well, "Hof" is actually more a farmyard than a house
House in its original meaning is translated to german as "Haus"

*groan* LOL   Maybe, "Veni, Vidi, Rebooti?"  Bonus points for the EISA reference....
