Survivors

Charity and her two-year-old daughter Cynthia live in Kenya’s Mount Kenya Region. Charity, 21, has lost both of her parents to AIDS and has responsibility for her six younger siblings. She was one of many Kenyans who met with a visiting group of 11 representatives from the diocese of Ontario who travelled last March to Mt. Kenya central and Mt. Kenya east, along with three staff from the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (please see related story).
