“I use it for playing tracks during my uni radio show, it’s easier than carrying 20 CDs to the studio.”

“John Kennedy, the Xfm DJ, he’d have some great new music on there for me to explore!”

“I’d love to DJ at Preston and Chantelle’s, indie ska mixed with cheeeesey pop – what a combo!”

“I bought ‘Us’ by Regina Spektor so that I could listen to it on permanent repeat.”

“I put together playlists for my friends’ parties.”

“Thom Yorke. Imagine the weird stuff he must have on his iPod!”

“On long car journeys, much better than any radio offerings.”

“I’ve got a great glow in the dark case for it, which also stops it getting scratched in my bag.”

“The German version of ‘This Fire’ by Franz Ferdinand.”

“‘Mnemonic’ by Robots In Disguise, I then got the rest of the album straight away.”

“DJing mostly.”

“Julian Barratt [from The Mighty Boosh]. Apparently he’s a jazz/fusion connoisseur.”
