Actually, I would like one but not in the current way the xbox 360 is. I want to be able to playback all my media on the xbox. I don't really understand why Microsoft refuse to include xvid/divx support for the xbox. I was at a meeting at Sony and I got a bit witty and asked them tech designers "Why do you guys support Divx in your DVD-players today? You didn't do that earlier while other players did support that. And besides isn't Divx and Xvid more or less the 'standard' for pirated movies on the Internet?"
Their answer "Well because people want it and we won't be able to sell as many units if we won't include it".
And while I'm at it, why not make the xbox able to playback media from it's hard drive as well? I would like to be able to copy all of my files directly to the hard drive in the xbox and be able to play it on my tv setup without the need of a MCE computer. Sure I love to be able to use MCE but being forced into it is just wrong IMO.
You have so many possibilites with the Xbox 360. You can really give people a WHOLE LOT more than they thought they'd get. But when you apply these basic restrictions, it just irritates people and well, frankly put it encourage people to find ways around them (read: chip).
Other than those things, I really like the new xbox. Just make it more like a asskick gaming console and free like a PC and ease up on the limitations.

I'm still in the "I want one" category, though more like "I'm going to get one", its just taking its time.
I ordered one on the 20th of November, and if I'm lucky it will arrive by the end of February.
But I am getting ready for it, I already have:

A Wired controller
A Play and Charge Kit
A Wireless adaptor
An MCE PC set up ready for media extension
Hows that for an "attachment" rate?

Now I've had a message from Amazon, telling me it won't arrive till the 30th of March!. How long can it take to build a few consoles and ship them out?

I gotta say I got mine, and I love it. Problem is, I'm so busy and recent developments in social life (for the better) are taking all my time.
