Learning Monad

Lee saw my entry the other week about my challenges on Monad, and asked me to have a look at his blog.  Oh wow.  Some scary stuff in there, and some cool things too (I particularly liked the fire effect gif that's all documented for you to try).

Scripting has certainly come on a lot since the Hello world code I learned. Oh boy.

So what's the shortest bit of effective MSH I can use for Exchange then?  And whats the shortest script that will do the most for me?  I'm keen to script as little of this stuff as I can :-) Answers on a postcard please...!

Actually, the offer was to help, not to look at my blog :)

Oh Lee, I'm so beyond help.... and looking at your really technical blog made me realise just how far I have to go, and how much I have to learn...

Hi Eileen, good to get your feedback. I think your question is ver valid: do you need to learn the entire Monad language to do interesting stuff in Exchange (or Monad)? I put together a brief article on it at my site as I'm sure others will have similar questions. I can't disclose too much yet, but hopefully can give you a peek into how easy (or hard) management through cmdline/scripting will be in E12. Thanks again for your feedback (and including my new-storagegroup sample on an earlier post), ~vivek
