Christmas ATP grows, Thurston says ''no Lightning Bolt''
13 Jun 2006

More acts have been announced for this winter's Sonic Youth-curated Nightmare Before Christmas All Tomorrow's Parties down in Minehead.

As well as Sonic Youth and Iggy and The Stooges, a host of smaller bands have been announced - and though there's a fair few about which one can shrug and go, 'ah, them again', it's not looking too shabby at this early stage.

Wolf Eyes will be bringing the station wagon driving noise, and will be joined by the likes of Melvins, Sunburned Hand of the Man, Bardo Pond, Alexander Tucker, Six Organs Of Admittance, Jackie-O Motherfucker, The Skaters, Magik Markers (John Doran's favourite band), My Cat Is An Alien. And as Thurston Moore told PlayLouder, there will be no Lightning Bolt this time around.

You can get tickets here, but be aware that all the smaller chalets have sold out.

And there's a steam train - TALK!
