Restrictions & Closures

Check out our Special Orders page to see what activities and areas are prohibited or closed currently.

When partial fire restrictions are in effect, campfires and charcoal barbeques are allowed only in designated campgrounds. When full fire restrictions are in effect, campfires or charcoal barbecues are not allowed anywhere. Coleman stoves are allowed (unless specifically restricted) in both cases. Check this spot for a link to specifics when restrictions are in effect.

 

Roads

Road to Dickinson Park from Ft. Washakie is temporarily closed. For current information please call the Superintendent of the Bureau of Indian Affairs at: 307-332-3718.

Access to most forest and grassland roads and trails remains open. Check with the local ranger district office for the latest current information.

Don't be delayed on the road! Check road reports for the Rocky Mountain area.
