Reg Feeds

Syndicated headlines available here

The Register has an RSS feed, always listing the 50 most recent headlines from the front page:

http://www.theregister.co.uk/headlines.rss

RSS format is intended for use by other sites who wish to display our headlines, and for aggregator software: it doesn't really make sense for humans to look at the feed directly.

Many RSS aggregators are available, both as stand-alone applications and as website services. If you're new to this sort of thing and want to try one out you could take a look at Bloglines, which some of the Reg propellorheads have been known to use (and is free). Or if you use Firefox as your web browser, its Live Bookmarks feature offers a simple and convenient way of tracking RSS feeds from within the browser.

If that all sounds like too much effort and you just want the latest stories in a window on your desktop then perhaps our news panel is more to your liking.

Pick and mix

We now also have separate RSS feeds for each section of the site, so you can build up your own personalized Reg headlines list by subscribing your aggregator to the combination of feeds that suits you. Feeds are available for top-level sections and for individual subsections. The full list is below :
