"This very ambitious venture is the project of the Ummah on the threshold of the new millennium. I call on members of this nation to support this great project according to their abilities to do so:

Wealthy Muslims can contribute some of their wealth, out of their alms (Zakat), regular charities, continuous charities, and their wills. Intellectuals should contribute to this project, publishing papers, and their research findings so that Muslims all over the world can benefit from their contributions.

Artists and technicians should also give us the benefit of their expertise and knowledge in the service of this project.

We ask those who have no money, no knowledge or expertise to pray for us, and for the success of this task. We are in dire need for their spiritual support and their prayers."
