JD EDWARDS WORLD

This is a new SIG that for the first time is dedicated to the sole purpose of ensuring J.D. Edwards World users have their own platform from where they can network with like minded individuals who are represented in the UK with International experience. This venue gives everyone in the JDE World User Community the chance to be heard and with the might of the UKOUG be taken seriously by Oracle.
 

• The JDE World SIG will promote the interests of the JDE World Community through member participation and collaborative dialogue with Oracle and associated partners.
• Opportunity for like minded individuals to come together in a positive environment sharing and learning from each others “real life” experiences based on a shared ERP technology.  
• Leverage on the collective strength of the JDE World User Community, acting as a single independent voice, better able to influence the future design / delivery of JDE World functionality / technology that’s important to JDE World customers. 
• Opportunity for members to participate in future direction of product design by either completing sponsored surveys, or playing a key role in focus groups like for example the Fusion project.
• As members of a common interest group there’s plenty of scope for individual support - anything from a general questions like “I’m thinking of implementing …. what do you think?” to specific advice on those problematic areas that aren’t mentioned in the user guides. 
• Discuss relevant issues / topics that impact everyone – consider what system changes are required due to new legislative rules / compliance being introduced.
• Provide feedback on personal experience of complementary tools and services – what works and what to stay clear off.
• Meet Senior Oracle representatives / industry leaders you may not normally have access to.
• Develop and build relationships that will strengthen the groups standing.
