Final Version of IE7 to be delivered via Automatic Updates
Internet Explorer 7 will be delivered as a high-priority update via Automatic Updates and the Windows Update/Microsoft Update sites soon after the final version is released for Windows XP (4th quarter 2006). The default, automated, delivery process includes explicit user notification and consent steps before IE7 installs. Organizations can download a non-expiring Blocker Toolkit to block delivery of IE7 if they wish to develop their own managed deployment plan for IE7.
