Download Exchange SP2

Well, after all my talk and all of the tantalising glimpses aboutwhat you can do with SP2, you can go and try it for yourself.  If you're running Exchange 2003, just download the upgrade from the Download centre. And if you missed all of the hype about SP2, go and have a read of all of the documentation on SP2 here... and of course on the Exchange home page...

Release notes are here:

Bugs fixed in SP2 here...

I'm off to play with the remote wipe function again - after I've rebuilt my blank XDA after wiping it unintentionally :-)

..along with some special SBS gotcha's. I think SBSers are the most excited to see the 16GB limit go away.

# default size limit change from 18 GB

I have downloaded and installed exchange sp2 just in time to avoid breaching the old 16 GB limit on my database. Sp2 has a default database limit of 18GB and I can not find where to change this... Anyone have an answer please email aaronATsundtechnologies.com

Thanks in advance

Aaron,
The default limit can be changed from 18GB by a registry key… see: http://blogs.technet.com/eileen_brown/archive/2005/08/25/sp2_ctp.aspx and http://blogs.technet.com/exchange/archive/2005/09/14/410821.aspx for the blog article.
Vlad has an excellent article explaining how this can be done step by step… http://www.vladville.com/articles/exchangesp2newdb.asp
This should increase your database storage size appropriately...
