President Bush's Statement on North Korea Nuclear Test
President Bush on Monday said, "The North Korean regime remains one of the world's leading proliferator of missile technology, including transfers to Iran and Syria. The transfer of nuclear weapons or material by North Korea to states or non-state entities would be considered a grave threat to the United States, and we would hold North Korea fully accountable of the consequences of such action."

Michael Johanns, Secretary of Agriculture, will discuss the promise of ethanol and bio-based fuels as well as his participation in "Advancing Renewable Energy," a conference jointly hosted by the Departments of Energy and Agriculture. Economic growth continues with 51,000 new jobs created in September. There have been over 6.6 million new jobs created since August of 2003, and the unemployment rate dropped to 4.6 percent.

And our parents I know want to be able send their child or children to schools that are safe places."
