These workshops are for priests, deacons and couples who are just beginning as well as those who are already conducting the premaritial inventory (FOCCUS). The training will review how to administer the FOCCUS inventory. It will also deal with interpersonal helping skills in order to be more effective and comfortable working with engaged couples.

These are some of the skills that participants will practice during training: empathy, respect, confrontation, knowledge of referral resources, effective resolution of material discovered and understood through the premarital inventory. Registration is limited and pre-registration is essential.
