This Day of Healing is for those who have experienced the loss of a child, from a stillborn baby to the loss of an adult child. It could be a recent loss or a loss from long ago. Mothers, fathers, grandparents, siblings, and others are welcome. Members of all faiths are also welcome. There will be a morning presentation on grief called The Graceful Winds of Grief by Pat Quinn-Casper, Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist at Columbia/St. Mary Hospital. The afternoon includes a presentation and personal sharing of a mother's and a father's grief. Lunch is included. The day ends with a touching memorial service in remembrance of the children.
The cost is $12/person and $24/couple.
