THEN. As a college student, Chris was a Campus
Crusade golden boy: ''action group'' leader, resident
advisor, coordinator of the weekly meeting, Thailand
summer project. He wanted nothing more than to continue
his student ministry experience as a full-time staff
member with Crusade. As a result he spent 5 years as
campus staff leading men, like Jeff,
to spiritually invest their lives into the eternal rewards
of knowing and making known Jesus Christ. (Honest. No,
really. C'mon... we're being serious.)
NOW. After campus staff and 5 more years as
college pastor for a large Southern CA congregation,
Chris left full-time ministry to earn an MTS in Theological
Ethics from Duke University (summa cum laude).
An additional year of PhD work at UNC-Chapel Hill means
that he is completely rejected by the evangelical world.
Any hopes of returning to Campus Crusade for Christ
have been dashed by his advanced education. However,
with God's grace, he has been able to use skills gained
in the ministry (cutting & pasting, doodling) to
illustrate each and every ''Which
Circle?''
