 SOLIDARITY MARCH

DEAR Amigo de NoCastro.com.
We would like to inform you that Cubans patriotic and civic organizations, along with our Latin American brothers, have planned a Solidarity March for the day October 20, 2001 at 2:00 p.m.

The “GOD BLESS AMERICA” Solidarity March will begin at the Bay of Pigs Heroes Monument, located At the City of Miami S.W. 8th Street (calle 8) and 13Th. Ave. It will proceed down 8th street.  Once there, a declaration will be read in support of the "American Way of Life,"  the President, and in the memory of September 11th victims and their families.

Bloque del Presidio Politico, Foro Patriotico Cubano, and Unida Cubana condemn these horrendous terrorist attacks on our  American soil.   Therefore, we would appreciate your support for this worthwhile Solidarity March.

See you at the "GOD BLESS AMERICA " SOLIDARITY MARCH!!!

NoCastro.com and OCU invites all individuals and organizations to join us in peaceful demonstration on September 19, outside of the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) Building located on the 500 E Street SW in Washington, DC at 9:30 A.M.

The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has launched a general fact finding investigation to assess the economic impact on the United States of U.S. sanctions on Cuba. The ITC will hold a public hearing in connection with this investigation. The hearing will be held on September 19, 2000, at the ITC Building.

We will demonstrate against yet another attempt by the Clinton - Gore administration to lift economic sanctions impose on the Castro tyranny.

Thank you,

M.A.R. (Mothers and Women Against Repression)
and
The New York Coalition of Cuban-American Women

invite:

all Cuban exiles, organizations and all those who wish to express solidarity with the cause of liberty to join a silent demonstration on the occasion of the visit of the Cuban dictator Fidel Castro and his communist delegation at the Millennium Summit of the United Nations

Wednesday, September 6, 2000

This will be a two-part demonstration in accordance with the permits obtained from New York City authorities

Between 2:45 and 6:00 p.m.--next to Daj Hammerskjold Plaza at East 47th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue

From 6:00 p.m. on--in front of the Cuban U.N. mission at 39th Street and Lexington Avenue

The goals of this gathering are:
1. To remember the thousands of victims of Castro and to ask for his indictment because of his many crimes against humanity.

2. To denounce and protest his government's systematic violations of all the rights enumerated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. To call on the International Community to support the internal opposition in Cuba. To demand liberty and fundamental rights for the oppressed people of Cuba.

3. To demand the immediate liberation of all Cuban political prisoners, legalization of political parties, labor unions and independent press.  To demand free and open elections in Cuba.

We call on all to join this demonstration with the dignity that our just and noble cause deserves. We will not respond to any provocations whose interests are not those of liberty and the rights of Cubans. If possible, dress in black, in sympathy with the suffering and deaths borne by our people. We suggest placards with the names and photos of political prisoners and their family, and known and anonymous heroes who have fallen victim to Castrism.
