FAQ

Q: What does FAQ's stand for?
A: "FAQ's" stands for "Frequently Asked Questions."
Q: How can i get some stickers?
A: To get some free World Industries stickers simply send us a S.A.S.E. (self-addressed stamped envelope) to: 225 South Aviation Blvd., El Segundo, CA 90245
Q: Where can I get World Industries stuff?
A: To find out how to get World boards nearest to you check out our Dealer Locator in the Buy World $tuff section. To use the Dealer Locator you will need to know the name of the city where you live or the first three digits of your zip code. Sorry, that's just the way it is. If you are a foreigner, check out the list of World Industries distributors to find out who is peddling our wares in your country or protectorate. U.S.A. #1! In the Buy World $tuff section you can find links to distributors around the world and online stores that sell our product. Weeee!
Q: How can I get sponsored?
A: The best way to get sponsored is if one of our pros personally recommends you to be on World, and since that is not likely to happen ever in a million years, your best bet would be to send in a video. Send all videos to: 225 South Aviation Blvd., El Segundo, CA 90245. And please, no begging. Note: all videos sent to us become our property to do with as we deem fit, which may or may not include showing them in a special "sponsor me" section of our website.
Q: What is the meaning of life?
A: The meaning of life is 42.
Q: What do I do if I end up with a defective board?
A: All World Industries decks come with the following conditional guarantee: All World boards are protected against manufacturer's defects for eternity or as long as you own them, which ever comes first. Defects consist of the following.: 1. warpage 2. delamination 3. holes drilled wrong. If your board has any of the three preciously mentioned defect please take it back to the store you purchased it with receipt, and we will be happy to replace it. HOWEVER, we do not replace boards that break due to normal wear and tear. This includes boards that have been focused, run over by a car, sustained water damage, or have been deliberately set on fire. Philosophical note: Today's skateboarding stunts such as 23 stair ollies and finger flips place a great deal of stress on a board and its only natural that after years of loyal service that eventually a board will become old and die. When this happens it is important not to dwell on things and think that you have been somehow cheated by God, but to think about the good things in life and all the fun that you and your board had together when it was still alive
Q: I need to know technical stuff about World Industries boards. Help?
A:

Here's some random information about deck construction and glue.

Everlasts

Liteweights

All World Industries decks are laminated with StiffGlue, a highly evolved bonding agent that dries to a rock hard, stiff bond unlike other soft rubbery glues which are used throughout the industry. You have to sniff glue to not like StiffGlue.

*In case you are wondering what the other deck construction is it’s our classic original 7-ply construction for which we don’t have any sort of special logo as of yet. If you have any ideas we are open to suggestions.
