“So far Sundance and the shy girl are my two standouts of this year. I also liked the Fidel looking guy. But it must be said that 53 people out of... what is it, close to 25,000 people that auditioned is just plain PITIFUL. That's what makes me think that we'll never see truly good talent on American Idol any longer; people are wising up to the fact that they won't get the chance to be themselves if they win; instead they'll have to fit into the cookie-cutter mold.
