System Center Reporting Server 2005

I've blogged about this before, but I keep getting questions on this topic.  If you want to know more about how System Center Reporting Server works with SMS 2003 and MOM 2005 then have a look hereThe first release of System Center 2005 will include SMS 2003, MOM 2005 and System Center Reporting Server 2005.

System Center Reporting Server 2005, the third component of System Center 2005, will deliver an integrated data repository and reporting service to support your IT decision making.  Everything currently available in the MOM 2005 Operational Database will be in System Center Reporting Server 2005. The same data transfer service (DTS) jobs used to move data from the MOM 2005 Operational Database to the MOM 2005 Reporting Server, will be used to transfer data from the MOM 2005 Operational Database to the System Center Reporting Server Data Warehouse.  With SMS 2003, all the software inventory, hardware inventory, software distribution, and security update management data will be moved to System Center Reporting Server 2005 and the schema will be published to enable you to create custom reports and ad hoc queries.

There is an FAQ available with more information, or you can have a look at SMSPerfGuys blog for techy design information.
