The Sexual Abuse Prevention and Response Services Office
1) serves persons who have been sexually abused by a representative of the Church to move toward healing and recovery, as well as parishes and institutions affected by sexual abuse; 2) coordinates investigation of allegations of sexual abuse and decision-making about fitness for ministry when complaints are substantiated; and 3) provides education, consultation and assistance with policies aimed at prevention of sexual abuse. |
