West Ham fined over players

Construction workers at risk

More workers are dying on building sites but fewer companies are being convicted for it. That's according to the Construction Workers Union.  It says new figures show worker deaths increased by a quarter last year.


Funeral for Iraq army medic

Hundreds of people have attended the funeral of an army medic killed in Iraq. Private Eleanor Dlugosz from Hampshire died with three others when their Warrior armoured vehicle was blown up on patrol in Basra earlier this month.

Scientist Stephen Hawking's become the first disabled person to float weightless on a zero gravity plane ride. He can't move his hands and legs and uses a computer to talk but says going Zero G was a lifelong dream for him.Watch the flight.


Cricket World Cup too long

The man who runs international cricket says the next cricket world cup will definitely be shorter. Malcolm Speed admits the 47 day tournament's too long and says the ICC will try to make it between five and six weeks for the event in 2011.
