Choose from two exciting camps this summer. Camp Edey (for
girls entering grades 1 – 9) is set on 95 acres of wetland preserve in
Bayport. Activities include swimming, boating, fishing, arts and crafts,
nature, special activities and weekly themes. Camp Sobaco is for boys
and girls entering grades 1 – 6. Located on 41 acres of Pine Barrens in
Yaphank, activities include horseback riding, swimming, indoor and outdoor
sports and games and more. There are eight one-week sessions, 9
AM – 4:30 PM (before and after care available). Both camps are ACAaccredited,
offer lunch and snacks and have a health supervisor on duty.
Swimming programs operate according to American Red Cross standards.

For almost two decades, Hidden Pond Day Camp at The Rinx has
been providing exciting summers for four year olds through tenth
graders. Our Athletic Program offers instruction in more than 20 sports,
while the Creative and Performing Arts Program offers everything from
drama and music to painting and plaster crafts. Campers enjoy our
two, full-size professional ice hockey rinks every day. Campers also
swim twice daily, following the American Red Cross Swim
Instruction Program in one of our three heated pools. A nurse and
EMT are on site all day. Camp runs from 9 AM – 4 PM with extended
hours available from 7 AM – 6 PM. Each day has a special theme;
special events are scheduled throughout the summer. Our goal is
to provide campers with "A Summer to Remember."

For boys and girls ages 5 to 13, Oasis offers enriching summer

Every SPORTIME facility offers a wide variety of exciting summer
programs for children of all ages -- tennis camps, multi-sport camps and
even a roller hockey summer camp. The Eastern Excel Tennis Camp
provides campers ages 5 – 18 the very best instruction under the direction
of highly-esteemed coach Lawrence Kleger. At the Kings Park facility,
options include Junior Multi-Sport (ages 6 – 14) and Start Kids
Preschool, both of which feature instruction in tennis, soccer, basketball,
hockey and swimming. The Bethpage Multi-Sport location has a state-ofthe-
art, 20-feet-high, freestanding rock climbing wall. All water activities
are supervised by Water Safety Instructors and lifeguards, and there is a
full-time first aid staff. SPORTIME's professional staff also includes experienced
directors and coaches, certified tennis professionals, licensed
physical education teachers, EMTs, early childhood specialist and caring,
enthusiastic counselors.
