Tip of the Day: Windows 2003 Service Pack 2

This is a neat trick that Matt showed me today.

I installed a based build OS with Windows 2003 R2 and SP2 on it.  Then started my exchange install and forgot about IIS.

So I go an install IIS and it asked for the SP2 disk.  Damm, where did I put that.

Matt showed me that I didn't need the SP2 disk as the files are already on the OS in C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386

Every day IS a school day!
