The mission of the MACCW is education, leadership, and service and includes a network of women across the archdiocese. Commissions include the Church Commission, Community Concerns Commission, Family Concerns Commission, Rural Life Commission, Legislative Commission and International Concerns Commission. MACCW serves as an umbrella for parish Christian Women groups, other parish women's groups, inter-parish organizations and individual members. MACCW was founded on December 8, 1920.
