New: Parish Stewardship materials!
We are excited to offer new resources that will help energize your parish Stewardship commitment campaigns!

We've gathered ideas, messages and strategies from parish appeals that have earned great success. These communications tools are now available to you for this Fall's annual appeal or for other special Stewardship needs that may arise.

Purpose
These Stewardship resources are designed to offer you a wealth of proven knowledge and convenience to assist you in inviting your parish community to share their gifts in a sacrificial and significant way. Our hope is having these resources available at your fingertips will encourage ALL parishes to use the language and scriptural invitation of Stewardship when recommitment takes place in their communities.

Theme
As the Development Office team worked to better incorporate stewardship messages into the Catholic Stewardship Appeal, they began to recognize that, the CSA's central themes and messaging could be adapted and incorporated into each individual parish's promotion of time, talent and financial resources. Taglines such as "The Time is Now. Needs are great." point to the urgency of the need. Scriptural references and sound messaging draw us toward that conversation of heart that initiates response and a recognition of our need to give.

The goal of our stewardship efforts - both at the archdiocese and within parishes - is to draw parishioners into relationship and support of their parish and the greater archdiocesan Church. More than ever, we see the common need to strengthen our efforts to inform, educate and involve parishioners about the importance of our common mission. We also know that, from a practical standpoint, budgets for public relations, creative writing, staffing and fundraising services are tight.

As a way of enhancing our services to you, we offer these materials as parish development tools that have the potential to impact your efforts for your next parish appeal. Our goal would be to develop these resources for your use each year. Your reactions and comments on using these resources will help us gauge their use and effectiveness for future years.

What's here
In this first year, we offer five communications pieces that are designed for your parish use. One click - and you have full access to well-written, professionally designed communications tools.

Two annual appeal brochures -- one addressing Time & Talent and one addressing Financial Treasure
We suggest using one brochure as a first mailer and a second as a follow up mailer 4-6 weeks later for those who have not yet responded. Or you may choose to use one in the fall and another in the spring to reinforce stewardship messages.
