2GB is a commercial radio station in Sydney, Australia broadcasting on 873 kHz, AM. It is one of Australia's most popular talk-back radia stations, especialy in the Sydney area. It's announcers generally have a centre-right viewpoint. The station commenced broadcasting in 1926. The operator, Theosophical Broadcasting Station Pty Ltd, owned by interests associated with the local branch of Theosophical Society Adyar, was granted a radio broadcasting licence for the Sydney, area. The station's call sign, "2GB" was chosen to honour the Italian philosopher, Giordano Bruno, who was much admired by Theosophists. Although the ownership of the station has subsequently passed to strictly commercial interests the call sign is retained.

  • Alan Jones: Alan Jones is the number one breakfast timeslot broadcaster in Australia according to AC NIELSEN's regular survey of his audience. (5.30am-10.00am Weekdays)[citation needed]
  • Ray Hadley: Ray Hadley is the mid-morning announcer on 2GB (10.00am-1.00pm Weekdays).
  • Chris Smith: Chris Smith hosts the afternoon show on 2GB (1.00pm-4.00pm Weekdays). Has also filled in for Alan Jones and is a fill in for Ray Hadley.
  • Philip Clark: Formerly the host of the breakfast program on 702 ABC Sydney as well as 2GB, he now presents the 'drive time' program (4.00pm-7.00pm)
  • Murray Wilton: Presents his program "The Good Life" weeknights between 7.00pm and 9.00pm, as well as on weekend afternoons between October and March (during the rugby league off-season)
  • Brian Wilshire: Brian Wilshire presents the top-rating nightly program (9.00pm-12.00 midnight Weeknights)
  • Jim Ball: Jim Ball is the midnight to dawn announcer on 2GB (12.00 midnight-5.00am Weekdays). He also fills in for Philip Clark over the summer.

  • Graham and Sandra Ross: Present "The Garden Clinic" program on Weekends between 6.00am and 9.00am, also joined by their horticulturalist daughter Linda.
  • Luke Bona: Presents the weekend mornings program (9.00am-12.00 noon Weekends), focusing on lifestyle issues such as real estate, health, travel, books, movies, music and trivia. Also fills in for Chris Smith when on holidays.
  • Continuous Call Team: Rugby League program, which airs between March and October (7.00pm-10pm Fridays, 12.00 noon-8.00pm Saturdays, 12.00 noon-6.00pm Sundays). Hosted by Ray Hadley, the program also features Bob Fulton, Steve Roach and Darryl Brohman along with Andrew Moore.
  • Andrew Moore: Presents "Sunday Sportzone", a wrap-up of the weekend's sporting action and results (6.00pm-8.00pm Sundays). Also reads the sports updates during morning news bulletins, and is the back-up commentator for Ray Hadley on the Continuous Call Team
  • Steve Murphy: Numerologist, whose program airs Saturday nights between 8.00pm and 12.00 midnight
  • Rev. Bill Crews: Presents the religion program on Sunday nights between 8.00pm and 12.00 midnight
  • Frank Crook: Presents the weekend midnight to dawn program. (12.00 midnight-6.00am Weekends)
  • Warren Moore: Is usually a floater on 2GB having his own program intermittently as well as filling in for Frank Crook, Jim Ball, Brian Wilshire, Luke Bona (weekends) and Murray Wilton.
  • Jason Morrison: The station's current affairs director, however is better known as an on-air personality, filling in for Alan Jones, Ray Hadley, or Philip Clark during the year when they are on holidays. Played a major role in the station's reporting of the Cronulla riots in December 2005. Morrison also presents his own editorial segments for the Alan Jones program and the 2GB website along with the summer weekend drive (5.00pm-8.00pm Saturdays, 4.00pm-6.00pm Sundays) with Angela Bishop.
  • Pete Graham: the club show Saturday afternoon 4 to 5pm Interviews with club enterainers, chefs, club news.
