World Vegan Day

World Vegan Day is a vegan holiday celebrated since 1994 on November 1 - an anniversary of the creation of The Vegan Society.

The 2004 event marked the 60th birthday of the society, and the 10th anniversay of the holiday. The 2005 event had as its theme 'TYPICAL VEGAN' to celebrate diversity and to show the world that there is no such person as a typical vegan. World Vegan Day is celebrated by vegans around the world.
