Tassos Venetis (born 24 March 1980 in Larissa) is a Greek footballer who plays in defence and midfield for AEL 1964. Venetis began his career with Iraklis but moved to AEL 1964 after failing to make an appearance. After two years, Venetis moved to Scotland and spent three-and-a-half years with Scottish Premier League side Dundee United, with a further six months at Ross County. Venetis moved back to his homeland Greece in 2003.
