'''Clint Cornelius Wilson, Sr.''' (1914September_18, 2005) was an African-American editorial Cartoonist. Wilson was born in a Log_cabin in rural Texas, one of 16 children of a Sharecropper. Wilson worked as a sports cartoonist for the ''San_Antonio_Register'' for free beginning in 1940. In 1946 he moved to Los_Angeles. He began working for the ''Los_Angeles_Sentinel'' in 1956, initially as a sports cartoonist. He became the paper's editoral cartoonist and worked in that position until his 2002 retirement. In 1990, he was inducted into the Black_Press_Hall_of_Fame.
