David "Elite" Braben's Frontier Developments studio is working on a sequel to its theme park game Thrillville.
Thrillville: Off the Rails, as the sequel is named, will once again allow players to create their own theme park experience, and features crazy roller coaster concepts in addition to a wider range of carnival games that seen in the first game and new ways to talk to the punters flooding to your park to get their pants thrilled off.
"Off the Rails lives up to its name with 20 death-defying rides so outrageous, they inspire the same word from every park visitor who sees them: 'WHOA!' Players build these incredible 'WHOA Coasters' to leap from one track to another, launch through the air like cannonballs, blast through burning rings of fire and more", it's explained.

A central, "lighthearted" storyline runs through the sequel and ties together over 100 missions in single-player, while there are 34 theme park games in Off the Rails multiplayer.
We're told that the new in-depth conversations you'll be able to have with your theme park customers both advance the plot and suggest better ways to manage the park. "But is every guest to be trusted? One never knows when a rival from the nefarious Globo-Joy might attempt to sabotage Thrillville parks with deceptive information..."
Thrillville: Off the Rails is due this October on Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PSP, DS and PC under the Games for Windows brand.
