Welcome to the Palucca School Dresden
where a rich 80 year "tradition of innovation" and "history of change" are the hallmarks.
With the aim to nurture creativity and individual responsibility from the youngest age, the philosophy runs from the dance programmes through to the teacher and choreographer training programmes. Currently in the process of developing a "Palucca School Syllabus" with an integrated concept for "applied movement sciences", this will provide the study plan for all of our programmes. The goal being to provide a means to one end: an integrated interdisciplinary education for autonomous thinking artists.

Join us, as we are embarking on an exciting new period of growth and development in our new state of the art facilities, with a full boarding and academic school and a wide range of programmes including five degree courses, two apprentice programmes and children's classes. The School is home to Tanzplan Dresden, D.A.N.C.E., the Hiddensee Project and also has a Friends Association, Dance Research and Alumni Network. Jason Beechey |
