Couple to Couple League
The Couple to Couple League (CCL) is an international, interfaith, non-profit organization dedicated to teaching Natural Family Planning (NFP) to married and engaged couples. It is a volunteer organization and services are provided by professionally-trained volunteers. CCL teaches the Sympto-Thermal Method of Natural Family Planning. In this system a couple uses cross-checking signs of fertility: cervical mucus, waking temperatures, and changes in the cervix itself. The League also teaches natural child spacing--ecological breastfeeding which typically provides over a year of natural infertility after childbirth.

CCL believes that couples should be free to choose the natural method with which theyfeel the most comfortable based on their own experience and instructs couples in all the common signs of fertility and infertility. In addition to the physical aspects of understanding and working with fertility, CCL instruction provides insights into values and moral principles involved in the decision to practice Natural Family Planning. For additional information, see the Couple to Couple League International website.

For a list of local couple certified to teach NFP by the Couple to Couple League please contact the Lifelong Faith Formation Office, 414-769-3441 or grevsmuehlm@archmil.org .
