Say what you want about China...

Say what you want about China but here’s how you stop corporate criminals. They kill other people through their actions or inactions, you impose the penalty for murder.

Of course if they were actually serious about stopping all the bribery and corruption there wouldn’t be many politicians left… in any country.

you impose the penalty for murder.???
you?

hopefully, China will review the records of all its politicos and purge them all. China needs a good purge of its political class. So does Amerikkka….

“you impose the penalty for murder.???”

No, hence my phrase of “you impose the penalty for murder.” Not you impose the death penalty. While I don’t agree with the death penalty, I do agree that corrupt ass holes like… well, most politicians need to get the fear of a penalty for their crimes hammered into them.

It was reactionary vaudeville. What do they care about one guy’s life? They execute people at the drop of a hat for a lot less than that, is my understanding. I suspect other people here know more about this than I do.

They were trying to demonstrate their commitment to food safety vis a vis the allegations made via the CDC and Panama against China’s $30 billion USD share of global trade. The US is trying to trash it in an effort to get Beijing to revalue their Yuan (so the Chinese people can buy back all that cheap shit they assembled for the transnationals). But the Chinese Ruling Elite have other ideas.

The fact of the matter is, the “food supply” deployed by the US into the Global Market — as well as on the home front — is a LOT more hazardous to everyone’s health and the US FDA is SO corrupt it’s ridiculous. Not to mention the legislative and judiciary branches. It’s a total global joke by now.

Did ya’ll see the piece Anthony posted recently? Worth a look see, I think : Watch What You Eat

So. The Execution of poor little mr less than a million dollars is actually betraying a lack of national confidence which is too bad and unnecessary.

“So. The Execution of poor little mr less than a million dollars is actually betraying a lack of national confidence which is too bad and unnecessary.”

Killing him showed a lack of national confidence?! Or did I read that wrong?

A corporate decision to break a law is based on the economics of non-compliance. If the benefit outweighs the punishment, the corporation is actually obligated to break the law to maximize profits for its shareholders. So I think maximizing punishments is a very good idea. This particular guy was asking for it. U.S. courts appear more corrupt than Chinese beaurocrats, so I don’t expect much here.

“U.S. courts appear more corrupt than Chinese beaurocrats, so I don’t expect much here.”

haha you need to do some more research into the Chinese government.
