Financing Opportunities
Industrial Revenue Bond Financing
The Athens-Clarke County Economic Development Authority is a constitutional body politic for the issuance of industrial revenue bonds. The Authority is operated by the Economic Development Foundation staff; working closely with state, local and private organizations to tailor both imaginative and efficient financing packages by blending the use of bonds, grants, conventional and gap financing to meet client needs. As each project requires a unique financial framework, no two deals are alike. The Authority takes great pride in structuring each financial proposal to meet specific client needs and priorities.
Conventional Financing
Due to the large number of local lending institutions in Athens Clarke County Metropolitan Statistical Area, commercial and industrial borrowers have many financing options available. Our local lending institutions also provide a wide range of specialized financial services to their customers.
