GAPSN's End of Summer Campout

ok, so maybe it's a little late to call it the "End" of summer, but it's kind of weird to call it "Fall" camping - especially when we're going to the beach. Anyways, here's the dealio...

The Spiel

GAPSN goes camping at Point Mugu State Park. We'll have 1 campsite for Friday night, and 2 campsites for Saturday night. Each campsite holds a maximum of 8 people and 2 tents. So 8 people can go on Friday, and another 8 people can join them on Saturday. When you respond to this Evite, please let us know what day you plan to arrive.

The Deal

At the moment, the cost is $20 per person for the weekend (or $10 for sat night only). Since space is limited, and we have upfront costs for the campsite, the first 8/16 GAPSN Members who respond to this Evite and pony up the dough will have a spot reserved. Membership is only $20, and it's good to the end of the calendar year. If you have questions about membership, please email me (Allen) at membership@gapsn.org

The Meal

For those arriving on Friday evening, please provide your own food, kthx! GAPSN will provide brunch and dinner on Saturday, and brunch on Sunday. Maybe some snacks, but don't hold your breath.

The Feel

Please bring your own sleeping bag / pad. We should have enough tents, we'll talk later about this. There are public bathrooms and showers. Bring soap and deodorant please.

The Wheel

We'll try to arrange carpools if we can. Also, it costs more for additional cars at the campsite, and a maximum of 2 per site. So we'll have to figure out a way to limit the cars.

if you have questions, or need more info, please email me at membership@gapsn.org. food is being organized by Gaylan, but we could always use extra help in the kitchen. if you have other ways to help out, or if you can think of other cool words that rhyme with -eel, please holler. as we get closer to the camping weekend, we'll send directions and contact cell # for those going. also, in case i have my facts wrong, i reserve the right to completely change this evite and the terms of this 'campout' whenever i feel like it. peace.
