Members of this consortium are academic centers or departments in universities or business schools. They all have a particular interest in nonprofit management, both in terms of generating new thinking and of helping nonprofits in their communities have a greater impact and increase their sustainability. Consortium members pay dues. NCNE aims to add value to their work by engaging its network of researchers, teachers and writers to provide the best possible content to the centers' presentations, seminars, conferences and curricula.
Chosen for their academic expertise in economic issues affecting nonprofit management, Research Advisory Council (RAC) members are a select group of renowned scholars from academic institutions around the world who present cutting-edge research at NCNE educational workshops, seminars and conferences and offer advice and counsel to nonprofits as part of NCNE's training and teaching work.
Other scholars who are eager to participate in NCNE projects are invited to join the Research Advisory Network (RAN), which allows NCNE to engage academic experts from around the world who are working in this field.
