Proven Track Record
Since its creation by Congress in 1984, NCMEC
has assisted law enforcement with more than 130,300
missing child cases, resulting in the recovery of more than 112,900 children.
Our CyberTipline, a reporting mechanism for child sexual exploitation,
has handled more than 500,000 leads.
Who We Are
Our
people are our value. The National Center for Missing & Exploited
Children brings a team of more than 350 dedicated and highly-trained
professionals with access to an extensive network of resources, research,
and cutting-edge technologies.
NCMEC staff include former, career law enforcement officers with experience
at federal, state, and local levels, as well as forensics experts, technologists,
analysts, attorneys, and social workers.
