How to access our reviews on your mobile

To access the service type the address - www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/music -into your phone's internet browser. Alternatively, if you are based in the UK, you can follow these three simple steps.

Step One

Text the word Music to 81010.  The BBC will send you a text message (service text message) within 5 mins. In most cases, the message will arrive in your normal text message inbox. However, some phones have a WAP Push inbox where the service message will be stored. This can often be found under the Services menu item.

Step Two

When the message arrives, you should open it and select the link. The link address may look like a normal internet address. It will prompt you to make a connection. You should select Yes.

Step Three

You're in! Don't forget to save a bookmark to the site on your phone. If you are not sure how to do that, consult your phone's handbook. The address for BBC WAP is www.bbc.co.uk/mobile

Terms and Conditions

The BBC does not charge for its mobile content. However, your operator's charges for using the internet on your phone will apply. Costs vary from operator to operator.

The SMS message you send to 81010 will cost 12-15p (network charges vary). Remember to ask permission if necessary. The BBC cannot guarantee that the WAP Push message will work on your handset. So far as may be permitted by law, the BBC disclaims all liability for any loss or damage.

Important Note

This WAP push service will not work on either pocket PCs or the 3 network. We advise Pocket PC users to access BBC content by typing the URL www.bbc.co.uk/mobile - into their device and selecting the relevant content from the homepage.
