Major revamping of the Ferny Grove train station and infrastructure work associated with the extension of a dual carriageway along Samford road have made Ferny Grove's accessibility to the city more attractive for working couples. Within the 10km to 15km radius of the town centre, Ferny Grove residents commuting via rail or road will arrive in the city within 30 minutes.
