XMPP Standards Foundation Project Ideas Preferred license: MIT license The XSF is the successor to the Jabber Software Foundation. We define open protocols for instant messaging and other real-time applications, using the Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP). Our technologies grew out of the Jabber open source projects and we still provide support for open source developers through conferences, code bounties, and other mechanisms.
