From the headquarters of Star!, MuchMusic and FashionTelevision, comes a new half-hour daily entertainment show, “Star! Daily”, your daily fix of entertainment news.

When it comes to the latest news from the world of entertainment, nobody does it better than us. We’ve been in the business of covering entertainment for over 30 years, starting with the launch of “CityLights” with Brian Linehan in 1973, “The NewMusic” in 1979, MuchMusic in 1984, “FT-FashionTelevision” in 1985, and, of course, the launch of Star!, Canada’s first and only entertainment station, in 1999. “Star! Daily” will broadcast from 299 Queen Street West, the hub of everything music, movies and fashion, bringing you a smart - at times irreverent - daily look at the world of showbiz. In a star-studded half-hour format, “Star! Daily” will keep viewers up-to-date with the latest news from Hollywood to home, providing viewers with candid information from the people who make it their business to know show business.

From the hottest TV shows to the biggest blockbusters to the hippest music and latest fashion trends, the "Star! Daily" team will cover it all. Hosted by Toronto’s own Husein Madhavji, most recently Entertainment Correspondent for the popular morning show "Good Day Sacramento" in California, he will be joined by Star!’s Larysa Harapyn and our new Entertainment Reporter Danielle McGimsie.

To keep a close eye on all the Hollywood hijinx, Star! is pleased to announce the opening of its own LA Bureau, providing a direct link to celebrity stories, red carpets and premieres. The LA Office, located at the corner of Wilshire Blvd. and LaBrea in the heart of Hollywood, provides a rooftop shooting location for feature stories and one-on-one interviews.
