How do I get permission to use copyrighted material?

Written permission is required to reproduce selections or excerpts of copyrighted material published by NavPress.

Book Permission Guidelines
Permission to use an excerpt from a NavPress book requires a written request. All requests will be handled in the order received. Every effort will be made to respond as soon as possible, or to accommodate specific due dates, but please allow 2-4 weeks. Before submitting your request, please pay special attention to the material you are requesting permission to use. NavPress cannot grant permission for any third party material (which is material used by permission of another source). You will need to contact the original publisher or author of the material to receive permission to quote any third-party or quoted material that appears in any of our publications.

The Message Bible Permission Guidelines
The Message text may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic, or audio), up to and inclusive of five hundred (500) verses or less without written permission, providing the verses quoted do not amount to a complete book of the Bible, and do not comprise 25% or more of the total text of the work in which they are quoted.
