Since April 2007 a National Human Rights Adviser has been deployed with the UN Country Team in Skopje to provide advice to the UNCT on how to incorporate human rights into programmes, to support UNCT interaction with UN human rights bodies and assist the country to meet recent recommendations of various UN Treaty bodies.
