Sun 'n Fun Fly-In, Inc. is centrally located in Lakeland, Florida and calls the southwest corner of the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport home. In addition to being the home of the annual Sun 'n Fun Fly-In, the Florida Air Museum and Gifts of Flight are both located on our site and open year-round.

More information on the construction that continues on Interstate 4 east of Lakeland. 

I-4 East - Exit 22 South Continue South on Park Rd.  At third light, turn East (left) on Coronet Rd.  Follow Coronet, turn East (left) on Medulla Rd.  At the light turn South (right) on County Line Rd. and then East (left) on W. Pipkin Rd. and proceed to the Public Parking Area.
I-4 East / West - Exit 25 Proceed South on County Line Rd. and turn East (left) on W. Pipkin Rd. and proceed to the Public Parking Area.
I-4 East / West - Exit 27
Polk County Parkway
Hwy 570 East (Toll - 50 cents)
 		 Exit South (right) onto Waring Rd.   Continue South on Waring Rd. to S. Medulla Rd. Turn West (right) on S. Medulla Rd.  Turn West (right) again on W. Pipkin Rd.   Pass GEICO and proceed to the Public Parking Area.

Polk County Parkway
Hwy 570 West (Toll - $3.00) 		Take Waring Rd. exit and turn South (left) at the light. Continue South on Waring Rd. to S. Medulla Rd.  Turn West (right) on S. Medulla Rd.  Turn West (right) again on W. Pipkin Rd.   Pass GEICO. and proceed to the Public Parking Area.
State Road 60 East / West North on County Line Rd. - East on W. Pipkin Rd. and proceed to Public Parking Area.
Follow signs to: Public Parking Area

South on S. Florida Ave.

Turn West (right) on Frontage Rd. by Ruby Tuesdays Restaurant.  Continue West (straight) to and through light at Harden Blvd.   At the next light, turn South (left) under the Parkway.  Proceed South (straight) through light at Drane Field and Waring Rds.  Continue South (straight) on Waring Rd. to S. Medulla Rd. Turn West (right) on S. Medulla Rd.  Turn West (right) again W. Pipkin Rd.  Pass GEICO and proceed to the Public Parking Area.

North on S. Florida Ave.

 Turn West (left) on Pipkin Rd.  Continue straight... you will pass Lakeland Airside Center on the Right (North) side of Pipkin.  You will then pass GEICO and proceed to the Public Parking Area.

COMMERCIAL EXHIBITOR TRAFFIC

Our year-round gate is located on Doolittle Rd. in front of the Florida Air Museum at Sun 'n Fun.  This gate will be closed during convention hours.

During the week of our convention please follow signs to auto parking area.

I-4 East / West - Exit 25 South on County Line Rd. and continue East on Drane Field Rd.

Ultra Light Campers Proceed to Waring Rd. Turn South and West on S. Medulla - continue straight, at left-hand curve, into Lakeland Airside Center - Follow signs to the Ultra Light Campground.

 Campground access is available only during a week prior to and through the week of the convention.

Transportation and Other Miscellaneous Services

AIR TRAFFIC PROCEDURES

Lakeland Airport's Control Tower will operate 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM. However, the Sun 'n Fun side (south) is closed to aircraft movements after 7:30 PM EDT. The field is also closed during the daily airshow (2:00 PM-6:00 PM). Check Graphic NOTAMS and AIM for air traffic information and procedures. Tune to ATIS upon arrival for update.

If you are flying to Lakeland (LAL), display a sign in your window indicating your tie-down area by using one of the abbreviations below:
