HOW TO USE THIS SITE

Rockdetector is an extremely detailed database and is updated on a daily basis. Each artist has an individual entry. Major artists whose careers span over decades are sometimes broken down chronologically. Simply click on the entry you require.

Within the historical text there are hyperlinks to other artist pages. Often biographies extend beyond the initial viewed page. Simply select 'Full biography' to read the rest of the historical text. Scroll down the artist entry page for further information on recorded output and reviews.

1. ARTIST SEARCH - This allows you to search for an individual artist. Results are displayed alphabetically starting with a direct match then near matches.

Tips:
- Some band names begin with ’The’, for example: THE WILDHEARTS.

2. TRACK SEARCH - This facility allows the user to look for an individual song title either from the Singles data or from Album tracklistings.

Tips:
- Some song titles include brackets, for example: (EVERYTHING I DO) I DO IT FOR YOU.

3. RECORDING SEARCH - This facility allows the user to look for an album or single title either from the Singles or Album data.
