Article Collaboration and Improvement DriveThe Article Collaboration and Improvement Drive works on an article that needs a lot of help to reach featured-article standard. The subject of this week's article improvement drive is 12-hour clock:
You can still help with last week's article, Psychoanalysis, or help pick next week's article. Good Article Collaboration of the weekThe Good Article Collaboration of the week works to polish already good articles to the highest of standards. This week's improvement drive is Elvis Presley:
You can still help pick next week's article. Core Topics CollaborationThe Core Topics Collaboration of the Fortnight works to improve essential Wikipedia topics. The current collaboration is Personal life. Personal life is the course of an individual human's life, especially when viewed as the sum of personal choices contributing to one's personal identity. It is a common notion in modern existence – although more so in more prosperous parts of the world, such as Western Europe and North America, where there are service industries designed to help people improve their personal lives via counselling or life coaching. You can help pick the next Core Topic collaboration article. |

Other collaborationsActive improvement teamsMaintenanceHelp clear up the backlog of articles to be merged! Merging is the process combining two (or sometimes more) articles into a new article, or adding the content of one article to another. You'll need to be familiar with the associated templates. Before you begin, you need to know the details of merging and moving pages. After you read that, you're ready to begin consolidating and improving articles! WikiProjectsWikiProjects are ongoing team efforts to improve articles having to do with a particular subject, and to manage the logistics of that topic. Hundreds exist — examine the master list to find one that interests you. They are separate from, though may work with, Collaborations. Language translationWikipedia is not just in English! Versions exist in many different languages. To fill in some of the English Wikipedia's gaps, we translate articles from other languages into English. You can view a list of articles that need translation from any language, or, in a few cases, by only one language (this is only available for the more popular languages). |

Tip of the dayThe encyclopedia proper is the main namespace and contains all of Wikipedia's encyclopedia articles. All of the other namespaces have prefixes, which must be included (followed by a colon) at the beginning of links to pages in those namespaces in order for those links to work. Otherwise, the links will point to the main namespace, which has no prefix. The namespace prefixes are: Talk:, User:, User talk:, Wikipedia:, Wikipedia talk:, Image:, Image talk:, MediaWiki:, MediaWiki talk:, Template:, Template talk:, Help:, Help talk:, Category:, Category talk:, Portal:, Portal talk:, Media:, and Special:. Counting those and the main namespace makes 20. In any given namespace there can only be one page with a particular name. Read more: Wikipedia:Namespace |
